Day 01: Arrival in Aswan

The first step in your adventure will be to embark the Nile Cruise ship then start sailing from Aswan to Abu Simbel in this amazing atmosphere.

Begin today’s visits by exploring  the Temple of Kalabsha. Constructed more than 2000 years ago by the Romans, over the remains of a more ancient site. The whole complex was transferred to its current location after the building of the High Dam.

Then your second visit will be to the Temple of Beit El Wali. Constructed by Ramses II more than 3000 years ago, the temple includes many amazing sections illustrating the power of Ramses II in Nubia in addition to some remarkable wall carvings.

Don’t ever miss discovering the small yet quite impressive Kiosk of Qertassi. Featured with its wonderful pillars with the head of the Goddess Hathour at the end, this is a notable ancient Egyptian site in Nubia.

All the meals will be provided to you by the Nile Cruise while enjoying the beautiful Nile views.

Day 02: Continue the Sail

Now you will continue to sail towards Abu Simbel while stopping for visits at some of the most marvelous historical sites along the way.

Day 03: Several visits + continue the sail

You will be enjoying another day in your sail journey from Aswan to the marvelous Temple of Abu Simbel

The first visit of today has to be unique, so you will be exploring the temple of Wadi Al Sebua. Constructed by Ramses II more than during the 13th century BC, the temple is featured with its avenue of sphinxes and many other sections.

There is another great place to explore today which is the Temple of Dekka. Among the establishments of the Ethiopian kings, when they took control of Nubia more than 1500 years ago, the temple is dedicated to the God  Throth and contains many marvelous sections.

Let’s add some interest to this amazing trip by exploring the Temple of Maharraka. Constructed by the Romans, this temple has an impressive hypostyle hall and several finely preserved sections.

This trip can’t be perfect without having a special visit to the Temple of Amada. This is the oldest surviving ancient Egyptian temple in Nubia. Constructed by Tuthomsis III and Amenhotep, the temple still preserves many colorful bas reliefs and wall paintings.

You will continue this day by exploring the wonders of the Temple Derr, another great example of the constructions of Ramses II in Nubia. The Temple, built more than 3000 years ago, hosts some amazing features.

The last visit of the day will be to the tomb of Pennout, who was a local governor during the reign of Ramses II. His tomb has some expressive wall paintings.

Day 04: Qasr Ibrim + Abu Simbel

Let’s continue this amazing sail from Aswan to Abu Simbel.

And start by visiting first the great Qasr Ibrim from the ship. This huge fortress was built more than 2000 years ago and contains some notable ruins and fortified walls.

Once you arrive at Abu Simbel, you have to start exploring the Temple of Abu Simbel.  Built during the 13th century BC by Ramses II, the most famous Pharaoh of the New Kingdom, the complex hosts two temples. The first is dedicated to the worship of Amun, while the second was built by the king for his wife, Nefertari
