You will arrive in less than 3 hours to the breathtaking Temple of Abu Simble. This temple was constructed by Ramses II, one of the most famous builders of ancient Egypt. This huge temple with its magnificent facade and four huge statues of the king, was all cut out of rocks. The whole complex, together with the smaller temple of Queen Nefertari, was transferred to its current location as there were fears it would be affected by the water reserves. People made a huge effort to keep them for you to come and visit.

The visits of today is ends and you will return back to Aswan to enjoy lunch in one of the best restaurants of the city.

Check in at your hotel and spend the night in Aswan, the city of gold.

Today we would be traveling to Luxor, or ancient Thebes to explore the treasures of the Pharaohs in Upper Egypt.

The most comfortable and modern vehicle will be waiting for you to take you towards Luxor city in a trip that takes less than 2 hours.

Luxor is in fact divided into two sections, the city of the dead or the West Bank with several ancient burial sites and temples.

Your very first visit in Luxor will start by visiting the Valley of the Kings. This ancient royal burial site is the richest and most exciting of the Pharaohs all over Egypt. In a trial to hide their tombs, the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom, beginning with the 18th dynasty started digging their tombs deep in the mountains. Never miss the chance to discover the secrets of the Tomb of Tutankhamen.

Next, in this perfectly tailored tour you will be visiting the Temple of Hatshepsut. Constructed more than 3000 years ago, the temple is the most charming mortuary temple that survived until today. Sections that tourists who visit Egypt should never miss include the chapel of Hathour, the chapel of Anubis, and many more secrets to explore.

Moving to the West Bank of Luxor you will be visiting the Colossi of Memnon. Can you imagine that these two huge statues are the only remaining items in the astonishing mortuary temple of Amenhotep III that was extremely huge and impressive as historians assert. Today, they are a famous landmark of Luxor and Upper Egypt.

Let’s have some rest by enjoying lunch in one fine local restaurant in Luxor and get the experience of the local Egyptian food.

After lunch and resting for a bit, you will be heading towards the City of the Living, or the East Bank of Luxor.

First, you will visit the Karnak Temple. There is nothing to be compared to this great ancient Egyptian temple. Dedicated to the God Amun, the temple is the largest construction of the Pharaohs ever built. Established more than 4000 years ago, during the era of the Middle Kingdom, there are many sections to explore there!

The great historical sites in this short tour have no end, next you will visit the Luxor Temple. This smaller temple was linked to the Karnak as many religious festivals used to take place among the two temples. Considered an open book in the arts and architecture of ancient Egypt, the temple hosts a large variety of sections and chapels that date to various periods of ancient Egyptian history.
