 Itinerary

Day 01: Cairo Arrival

Welcome to your first day in Egypt, our tour guide will be waiting for you at the Cairo International Airport to start this great journey.

You will be taking the best private vehicles on a ride towards your hotel in Cairo to check-in and have a relaxing night to get ready for tomorrow's journey.

Day 02: Cairo Pharaohs Visits

On a very refreshing morning you will be enjoying the best breakfast at your hotel to energize for today’s best tour.

To begin this tour in Cairo you must be discovering the secrets of The Great Pyramids of Giza. The most amazing architecture of ancient Egypt. These huge startling structures served as the tombs of the kings of Egypt. Constructed in the 25th century BC, the construction of the pyramids is still a mystery until today.

Let’s continue this incredible tour by visiting Saqqara, The richest archeological site all over Egypt with several ancient tombs and pyramids. Dating back to more than 4000 years. The main attraction of Saqqara is the Step Pyramid of Djoser which is the first pyramid to be built in Egypt.

The last visit of the day will be to Memphis. This is the first capital to be founded in Egypt more than 5000 years ago. Nevertheless, the displays of Memphis today include many exhibits dating to the era of the New Kingdom with the huge colossi of Ramses II.

You will enjoy your lunch at this time in  one of the finest local restaurants in Cairo.

Once you finish your lunch you will be heading to the train station to take the sleeper train towards Aswan.

You will have your Dinner while you are moving and get an exciting sleep at the sleeper train.

Day 03: Nile Cruise + Aswan Tours

Enjoy your breakfast in the early morning at the sleeper train.

Once you arrive in Aswan you will embark on our Nile cruise in Aswan then you will start with the highlights of Aswan City.

First of all you will visit the Philae Temple. This is the best example of Potomac temples that were finely preserved. It was a central hub for the worship of the goddess Isis. The whole complex was relocated to Agilkia Island after the construction of the High Dam in a huge project led by UNESCO.

Moving on with the Aswan tour by visiting the High Dam, the largest water dam ever constructed on the River Nile. Being around 1 kilometer long, the dam was built in the 1960s to save the water of the river and generate electricity.

Finally in Aswan you will be visiting the Unfinished Obelisk, The

largest obelisk ancient Egyptians attempted to erect all over their

history. However, because of a broken part at its bottom, it was left in its original location which you will be exploring today. Day 04: Free morning in Aswan, Kom Ombo

Breakfast will be served to you on the Nile Cruise to get ready to have more fun in today’s journey.

After enjoying a free morning in Aswan you will have the choice to go on an optional tour to the Temple of Abu Simbel.  This temple is Popular for its colossal facade with four huge statues of Ramses II, the bigger temple was built by the famous pharaoh for the gods; Ra-Harakhty, Ptah and Amun. This is in addition to the smaller but never less charming temple dedicated to Ramses favorite wife, Queen Nefertari. The same as the Temple of Philae, Abu Simbel Temple was relocated after the construction of the High Dam.

Your Nile Cruise ship will land at the second location of the Temple of Kom Ombo. Founded in the 2nd century BC and completed during the 1st century AD. Dedicated to two gods, the Crocodile and the falcon god, it is among the most remarkable in Egypt, this is one of the most remarkable ancient temples of Egypt.

You will be sailing towards Luxor city while you‘re enjoying an entertainment night on the Nile Cruise. 

Day 05: Tour to Edfu + Sail to Luxor

Have a refreshing Breakfast on the Nile Cruise before starting a very interesting day.

As your first visit of the day will be heading to the Temple of Edfu, This temple is the biggest and best preserved Ptolemaic temple in Egypt. Featured with its pylons, huge pillars, and the famous statue of Horus, this is an ancient site never to be missed during your tour to Egypt.

Sail afterwards towards Luxor city.

Start your tours in the East Bank of Luxor by visiting the Karnak Temple. This is the biggest and most amazing temple of ancient Egypt. Established more than 4000 years ago, it was constructed over a period of more than 20 centuries. The most astonishing elements include the avenue of sphinxes, the many obelisks, the sacred lake, and the huge pillars of the hypostyle hall of Ramses II.

Then as a next step you will pass by the amazing Luxor Temple. This temple represents an open-air museum of ancient Egyptian art and architecture as it was established during the 14 th century BC. Day 06: Luxor East Bank Tours

Breakfast will be served for you on the Nile Cruise. you will check out the Nile Cruise after sailing from Aswan to Luxor in a magnificent experience.

You will continue the West Bank of Luxor tours by exploring the Valley of the Kings.  This is the greatest royal necropolis of ancient Egypt. The kings of Egypt started during the 18th dynasty to hide their tombs inside the Theban mountains to protect them against thrifts. These tombs are famous for their colors and decorations.

Next, you will have a very special visit to The Colossi of Memnon. These two huge statues which represent one of the most popular landmarks of the West Bank of Luxor are the only remaining parts of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. They took their famous name during the Roman period.  

To end the West Bank tour you will be visiting Temple of Hatshepsut. The temple was constructed more than 3500 years ago and it is featured with its unique location at the foot of a large mountain, its several consecutive terraces, the statues of the Queen disguised as a Pharaoh, in addition to many sections and chapels.

Afterwards you will be heading to the Luxor train station to take the sleeper train back to Cairo.

Day 07: Alexandria day tour

Don’t forget to enjoy your breakfast in the morning on the sleeper train.

Once you arrive in Cairo, our representative will take you to begin another great day in this comprehensive tour to Egypt.

Today you will be heading to Alexandria in one of our private air-conditioned vehicles in around 3 hours.

Upon your arrival in Alexandria you will begin this tour by visiting the Library of Alexandria. In 2002, this great library was established and considered as the modern version of the ancient library of Alexandria that was established in the 3rd century BC. The library is featured with its huge circular design and the glass that permits the natural sunlight to enter it.

Then to the most interesting place of Alexandria, The Roman Amphitheatre. This impressive theatre will be your favorite if you’re one of the Roman history fans. It was founded in the 2nd

century AD and discovered in 1965. you will definitely enjoy your

time there.

Now it's time to visit Pompey’s Pillar.  This 27 meters’ impressive granite pillar is the only remaining section of the Serapium Temple that was founded in Alexandria during the 3rd century AD. It also has two remarkable sphinxes where you will get great photos for memory.

You will definitely enjoy your lunch in one of the best local restaurants in Alexandria.

After enjoying the Egyptian food, you will be heading to the Citadel of Qaitbay. The most famous landmark of Alexandria, constructed by the Mamluks more than 600 years ago. Almost all the sections of this masterpiece of military architecture were finely preserved for a marvelous tour of such complexes during the period.

For having some fun and relaxing moments you will visit the Montazah Gardens and complex.  One of the rare examples of the summer resorts established by the former royal family of Egypt. Founded at the end of the 20th century by Khedive Abbas Helmy II, it includes two Italian designed palaces and many gardens.

At this moment you have completed this great tour of Alexandria and you will head to spend the night at your hotel in Alexandria.

Day 08: Cairo City Tour Museum, Citadel, Khan

You will be enjoying your breakfast in the hotel to get more excitement for today’s tour in Cairo. 

Your visits in Cairo will start with The Egyptian Museum. This incredible place is one of the largest and most interesting in

the world with around 120,000 displays. You will enjoy this visit as

you are spending a journey in ancient Egypt’s history.

 

Don’t miss trying the Egyptian food during your lunch in one of the best local restaurants in Cairo.

As the second visit of the day you will be heading to the magnificent building of the Citadel. One of the most popular historical sites of Cairo, constructed over one thousand years ago by Saladin. The citadel served as the seat of the power for the rulers of Egypt for centuries.

As a great end for this day you will explore Khan El Khalili for some shopping time. This is the largest and most impressive touristic market in the whole region. There are all sorts of gifts and souvenirs sold here for tourists coming from all over the world to visit Egypt.

Now this great tour has reached an end you will be transferring back to your hotel in Cairo to spend the night and share some great memories together.

Day 09: Final Departure

Once you have your breakfast at the hotel, you will check out the hotel in Cairo.

It’s now the time to be heading to the Cairo International Airport to take the flight back home after having a remarkable holiday in Cairo, Nile Cruise, and Alexandria.
